All are trainers at Optimum Fitness are licensed and certified with years of experience as a fitness expert. Each Trainer is unique and offers a taste of there specialty from their experiences in fitness.
| Raphael Verela Team Leader, Fitness expert, Program creator
Raphael Verela, a six-year United States Marine Corps veteran, created Optimum Boot Camp. Raphael also trained pre-Boot Camp recruits with emphasis on muscle strength development and cardiovascular endurance. His experience and education in the health and fitness industry got him recognized as one of the best trainers in Southern California.

Raphael attended Oregon State University, as an Exercise Physiology major, and is certified with the American Council on Exercise, Progressive Fitness accredited training programs, Future Fit, Sports Telesis, as a Nutrition Technician, and Muscle Lab 1 resistance training.

Raphael has actively competed in Martial Arts, Baseball, Football, Track and Field, Swimming, Underwater Diving, Sky Diving, Repelling, Cycling, Mountain Biking, Open Sea Kayaking, Hiking, Skiing, Snow Boarding, and Gymnastics. Raphael offers a practical knowledge of the athlete and outdoors person, coupled with laboratory and scientific research findings in designing an effective program to benefit everyone regardless of age, general, level of fitness, weight or personal busy schedule.

| Amiee Barsky Personal Trainer
Amiee Barsky hails from Atco, a small town in Southern New Jersey. At a young age Amie took interest in team sports including gymnastics, softball, cheerleading and track. |
At age 18 Amie enrolled with the National Ballet Company of New Jersey and started her dance training. Three years of strong and intense technique classes with this ballet company opened the door for her to continue her education and training at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. During her four years at the University of the Arts Amie was able to study all avenues of dance and acting but not surprisingly she took an avid interest in the study of Kinesiology and Anatomy.

Amie's continual studies in different training methods give her the knowledge to work with a wide range of individuals from professional athletes to seniors through weight training, ply metrics and exercise bands to name a few. She is always on the move and is dedicated to helping others achieve their goals. It's not just a work out, it's a life style that enables you to reach and maintain your fitness goals.

| Billy Kane Personal Trainer, Boot Camp Instructor
Billy Kane is an experienced personal trainer who has taught boxing and kickboxing, boot camp, weight training, and can also work with stretching and light yoga. Billy is experienced in a one on one type of training, or a full class of students.

After many years teaching and continuing to work hard on his own conditioning , Billy has combined martial arts, fitness, and weight training into fun , challenging , and noticeable results for men and women of all ages.
